Midi input

From MusiCAD

You can use a MIDI keyboard to quickly enter a piece of music.

In edit mode, activate the midi button. Each key pressed on a connected keyboard now inserts a note. The duration of the entered note is that selected on the buttonbar using the duration buttons. With the auto button pressed, the note duration depends on the set tempo and the time the key is pressed.

If you set text input mode to keyboard input (1-z) you can use a computer keyboard as a piano keyboard.

If [Options|Preferences|Edit|live MIDI record] is checked, it will be possible to live played music fragments in edit mode. Disabling MIDI input inserts the played snippet at the cursor position.
