New part dialog
Using the new part dialog you make your choice for the new part to be created.
If chord symbols are available in the main part of the score, the 'chords' and 'harmony' sub-trees will be available for use (both need chord symbols for new to be created parts). Unaltered parts will be listed in the score dialog with an A indicating an automatically created part.
