MIDI insert mode enables note insertion by means of a (emulated) Midi-keyboard.

If a MIDI-keyboard is attached and the MIDI-button midi is up you can play on the keyboard without getting notes inserted. As soon as the MIDI-button is down every midi key will insert a note on the selected staff.
