Part abbreviation

Abbreviated in score overview let you define the abbreviated name of the part as that might be printed in in the score.

You can have MusiCAD write the abbreviated part name at the front of each line if you reserve space for it under [Options|Layout|Indentation other].

For these abbreviations to be visible, the following conditions must be met:

• part abbreviations must be listed;
• the entire text must fit within the margins.
