Ta-ta-ta-taaaa - Ta-ta-ta-taaaaaa...


Almost everyone knows those notes.

Ludwig van Beethoven himself wrote them between 1804 and 1808:

Entering Beethoven's entire fifth symphony (playing time approx. 30 minutes) will of course takes quite a bit of time and effort - but it might be worthwile.

But wait a minute, Beethoven died in 1827, so his music is now copyright free and probably available as a MIDI file on the internet.

That was the case.

Import the midi file with default settings:

That seems like a long way off...

For example, you can often make a score relatively quickly from a MIDI file. Usually some adjustments still need to be made, but the notes are already there, sometimes a bit clumsy to read, but something can be done about that:

A lot more pages are needed in this format, but that's the idea.
