The status line comes in two flavors: for the main screen and for the notation bar.
main screen
The status line of the main screen shows the following from left to right:
- see the 'hint' text for the 'thing' that the mouse cursor is currently on (e.g. a button on the button bar or a menu -item) In many cases you will immediately see the shortcut associated with that action.
- an eventual notification from MusiCAD when saving and opening.
- line number
- page number
notation bar
The status line of the notation bar shows successively:
- the cursor object in musicad_notation (pitch, duration, options)
- measure number
- count
- time
- current bar
- help information
- extra information
