MusiCAD notation
Each 'thing' (object) on the bar is described internally with a few elementary quantities: pitch, duration and other characteristics.
you can change these three things directly on the notation bar with <F4>.
You will then get a dialog box in which you can enter/change a line of text that describes the object in MusiCAD-notation.
The rules for this can be found under syntax.
In the text field above, the note G4 with duration 1/4 and other characteristics is a fermate and a roll.
