Dynamics
Dynamics are instructions to play louder or more quiet. There are two different dynamic possibilities: stepwise dynamics and gradually changing dynamics. The stepwise dynamics like p, mf and ff can be inserted using the dynamics menu as available under 
. crescendo written as text should be inserted as music direction text, whereas the wedge-shaped crescendo/decrescendo should be inserted with the line menu
Dynamic articulation may be used to emphasize a single note in a certain way: marcato, tenuto (-) and accent (>)
