Barline

Barlines are drawn by MusiCAD as necessary determined by meter and note durations. However, once in a while you need to alter the automatic bar line insertion by inserting a hard-bar line from the barline-menu as is the cause with upbars

A special form of barlines are barlines with repeating dots at one or both sides. Barline-repeats should always be paired with one exception for the first repeat at the start of a melody, where it is very uncommon to write down the repeating dots at the (missing) first barline. Prima volta and secunda volta signs may be used in conjunction with barlines having repeat-dots.
