Lots of free music (folk music, classical music) have already been written using MusiCAD an are available in the MusiCAD music archive, so please check if someone else has done the job you are going to take upon yourself.

The 'MUZiek Archive MUSicad' used to be hosted at muzamus.dse.nl.

Around 2015 the hosting site 'digitale stad eindhoven' (dse) went out of maintenance and so muzamus also went offline.
